15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase Pole Mounted Transformer
ZiSheng ELECTRIC'S 15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer can provide a variety of optional specifications according to different application requirements to ensure its reliability and efficiency under various power systems, environmental conditions and special operating requirements. The high voltage side (HV) voltage level can be selected from 11kV, 13.2kV, 15kV, 19.92kV, 22kV, 33kV, etc. to adapt to the power grid requirements of different countries and regions. The low voltage side (LV) voltage level can be selected from 240/120V, 220/110V, 400/230V, 480V, etc. to meet the needs of different electrical equipment.
The insulation class meets the requirements of Class A (105°C), Class B (130°C), and Class F (155°C) to meet different operating temperature requirements. The insulation medium can be selected from mineral oil, silicone oil, and natural ester (FR3 environmentally friendly oil) according to environmental requirements. The lightning impulse level (BIL) can be selected from 75kV, 95kV, 125kV or higher to ensure the reliability of the transformer under lightning and switch overvoltage conditions.
For structure and materials, copper winding (Cu) with better conductivity and suitable for power grids with high reliability requirements and aluminum winding (Al) with lower cost and suitable for economical power distribution solutions are used. The cooling method is standard oil-immersed self-cooling (ONAN), and forced air cooling (ONAF) is optional to increase the rated capacity.
ZiSheng ELECTRIC'S 15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer can provide a variety of optional specifications according to customer needs, including different voltage levels, insulation materials, cooling methods, protection levels, protection devices, remote monitoring functions, etc. These options can improve the adaptability of the transformer, making it suitable for different grid standards, environmental conditions and smart grid requirements, ensuring efficient, reliable and long-term stable operation.
15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase Pole Mounted Transformer
ZiSheng ELECTRIC ensure that the 15kVA traditional single-phase pole-mounted transformer is protected from damage during transportation and storage, the manufacturer will adopt standardized packaging and transportation solutions. The packaging method must meet IEC 60076, ANSI C57.12.20 and the customer's special requirements, while ensuring the safety and reliability of the transformer under various environmental conditions.
Transformers are usually fixed with steel frames or wooden pallets to prevent tipping or sliding during transportation. Rubber pads or shockproof materials are installed at the bottom of the transformer to reduce the impact of vibration on the equipment. All terminals, bushings, valves and other components are protected by plastic covers or rubber seals to prevent dust and moisture from entering.
A clear product label (Nameplate) should be affixed to the packaging of each transformer, indicating the model, voltage level, weight, serial number and other information. The center of gravity (Center of Gravity), lifting points (Lifting Points) and storage direction (This Side Up) are marked on the packaging box to ensure correct handling. It is accompanied by a complete factory inspection report, packing list, installation manual and safety instructions, and placed in a waterproof sealed bag.
When choosing sea transportation, containers or flat racks are usually used for shipment. The transformer should be firmly fixed on the pallet to prevent displacement caused by sea turbulence. It is packed with moisture-proof and salt-spray-proof packaging, and coated with an anti-corrosion coating on the outside to prevent salt from corroding metal parts.
ZiSheng'S 15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer adopts professional fixing, shockproof, moisture-proof and anti-corrosion measures during packaging and transportation to ensure that the equipment is always in the best condition before delivery to customers. Different modes of transportation (land, sea or air) will adopt corresponding protection plans, and strictly follow international packaging and safe transportation standards to minimize the risk of transportation damage and ensure that the transformer arrives safely at the installation site.

After ZiSheng'S 15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer is manufactured, the factory will conduct a factory acceptance test (FAT) to ensure that the transformer meets the design specifications, international standards (such as IEC 60076, ANSI C57.12.20) and customer requirements. FAT ensures that the transformer has qualified electrical performance, insulation strength and operational reliability before delivery. Oil dielectric breakdown, moisture, and acidity are analyzed per ASTM for fluid quality. Functional checks operate fuses, arresters, tap changers, and pressure relief. Optional tests include sound level measurement or temperature rise if witnessed. Certified reports with calibration traceability and customer witness options (if required) document all parameters, confirming efficiency, safety, and readiness for reliable overhead installation.
Purpose of Testing
The purpose of testing the applied voltage is to verify the insulation strength of the transformer by applying a voltage higher than its normal operating level, ensuring it can withstand potential electrical stresses. This test helps identify any weaknesses or defects in the insulation system before the transformer is put into service.
Testing Equipment
Test equipment: High voltage tester (e.g. TTR, Hipot, etc.)
Voltage source: usually 1 kV, 5 kV, 10 kV, or customized according to customer needs
Temperature and humidity meter: used to record environmental conditions
Pre-Test Preparation
Disconnect the device from the power supply and make sure it is properly grounded and discharged.
Check the connection terminals and wiring to ensure that they are not loose or contaminated.
Test under suitable environmental conditions: relative humidity below 75% and no rain (recommended temperature: 20-30°C).
Test Progress
Connect the Test Instrument:
Properly connect the test equipment to the bushings or terminals of the device under test and ensure that all connection points are properly grounded.
Selecting the test voltage:
Select the appropriate applied voltage based on the rated voltage of the equipment.
Measure and Record
Start the test and record the following parameters:
Measuring leakage current
Applied voltage
Current stability
Any possible voltage fluctuations
Temperature Correction
If necessary, the measured data is temperature corrected to ensure that it corresponds to standard temperature conditions (usually 20°C).
Repeat Testing (if necessary)
Multiple tests were conducted on different windings (high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage) and bushings, and comparative analysis was performed.
Evaluation Criteria (Reference)
The test was normal and the equipment performed well (qualified)
The current value exceeded the allowable range and the equipment needs to be inspected or maintained (pending repair)
There was a serious fault or instability and the equipment could not continue to operate (unqualified)
Observing electrical behavior
Observe the electrical behavior of the device under test to ensure that there are no abnormal currents, arcing, noise, or electrical faults.
*These comprehensive tests ensure that each transformer meets performance standards and operates reliably under various conditions.
